The beach access is amazing and the views are beautiful. Room cleanliness was a concern; there were signs of bugs and old drinks in the room. Staff was friendly but check-in took longer than expected. Kitchen in the room was well-equipped for making meals.

The views from our balcony were absolutely awesome, especially in the morning when all you could hear was the soothing sound of birds, and with the beach just steps away, we found ourselves soaking in the sun and scenery, while the heated pool provided a nice alternative for a refreshing dip; the staff was friendly and ensured our room was clean and comfortable, creating a homey feeling during our stay, but it would have been even better if the parking was more abundant on-site.

We got stuck in a room that smelled like marijuana, with broken amenities everywhere. The dirty kitchen had rusty equipment, and the whole place just felt neglected. Honestly, it was so disappointing and not worth the price we paid.

A quaint beachfront retreat, perfect for families. Our room featured two queen beds separated by a kitchen and bathroom, offering privacy and space. The kitchen had essentials but lacked a pizza cutter. The beach access was fabulous, and the nostalgic motel feel was charming, despite not being a high-rise luxury. illumination was dim, and upkeep issues surfaced—the bathtub drained too slowly, and the corridor cleanliness raised concerns upon arrival. Staff assistance was lacking during check-in, and the pool needed attention. Despite these setbacks, the location and atmosphere remain unbeatable. A few upgrades and better staff coordination would elevate this stay remarkably. Just don’t expect five-star service or cleanliness.

Had an awesome weekend! Loved the affordable price for a quick beach getaway and the heated pool with direct beach access. Balcony view was sweet, not crowded, and just a short stroll to the main beaches. The friendly staff and great location made it a winner for us!
Room service could be improved—had to request extra towels. Some maintenance issues like damaged balcony roof with birds and a shortage of towels.

The room had a great view from the top floor, and the private beach access made for a peaceful stay. There was ample counter space in the kitchenette, but the utensils were sparse. The beds were lumpy, and I noticed some wear and tear, such as missing drywall. The AC wasn’t very effective, especially in the back area where our child slept. Housekeeping was minimal, with supplies only provided upon request. Key cards were unreliable, requiring frequent trips to the front desk. The bathroom had electrical issues at times, which was concerning.

Visiting Panama City Beach for the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam was an unforgettable experience for our family. The combination of beach time and live music from True Soul created lasting memories. The kids were ecstatic dancing on the sandy shores to the vibrant tunes under the starlit sky.
My wife says that more kid-friendly activities could enhance the family experience.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right on the beach with a beautiful view from the balcony. The room size was perfect and met our expectations. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. there were some issues that affected our stay. The heating and air conditioning in our room were not working properly, making it uncomfortable at times. The garden furniture on the balcony was old and worn out, with some pieces falling apart. there was a lack of supplies in the room, such as towels, toiletries, and kitchen essentials. This made it difficult to keep the room clean and organized during our stay. Despite these issues, the potential of the hotel in such a quiet and enjoyable location is evident.

Best part was the beach access, just a few steps away from the hotel. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking and added a special touch to my stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit.
The elevator broke down upon arrival, leading to a frustrating experience lugging beach gear up four flights of stairs. The key card lock was faulty, causing delays in accessing the room.

We had a blast at the beach, listening to awesome bands like True Soul and String Theory during Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam! Shark's Tooth was a chill spot to golf too. Plus, we cruised on the Shell Island Tour and had a rad time at Emerald Coast Cruizin' Car Show!
I wish there was a cool beachside party spot for young peeps to hang out and dance all night long! .

The festival with 20 bars and restaurants was a lively competition. Barefoot's seafood and live music were delightful. The beach view from Searenity was serene and gorgeous.
Mold in the bathroom, cold showers, and unclean outside area - pure perfection! .

My recent stay at Sugar Sands Beachfront Hotel was truly amazing. The beach rentals were fantastic and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The large rooms, comfortable beds, and great water pressure made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The beach view from our room was breathtaking. I'll recommend this hotel.

Our family had a fantastic time at this beachside hotel. The front office lady, Latoya, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We loved the comfortable pool chairs and the privacy provided by the split room with two beds. The updated rooms were perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 kids. The beach was beautiful and not crowded, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. Housekeeping was quick and efficient, ensuring we had fresh linens and a clean room. We even received a call to make sure we made it home safely, which we truly appreciated.
The grounds were not up to our standards during our stay. There were some issues with cleanliness and maintenance around the hotel, which was a bit disappointing.

the entire unit was exceptionally clean! the location - right on the beach - was so convenient with sand in the rooms and a mat at the doorway. the staff was super friendly and helpful, and i loved the little room with coffee and granola bars.

the complex was very clean and the room was wonderful. the staff at the front desk were all friendly and helpful. the location was away from the congestion of the main road but close enough to shopping areas, restaurants and places of interest. it was beachfront with a balcony, spacious rooms, and a kitchenette. the beach wasn’t crowded, and it was away from the strip and noise. loved the potential of the place. we’d stay again
